The Beiteddine Festival is one of the leading festivals in the Middle East. It takes place in a large and magnificent 200-year old Palace in the Chouf Mountains, in Lebanon.
Shahnaz Ensemble includes, Maestro M. Derakhshani (Leader & Tar), R. Safaei (Santour), M. Shajarian (Setar), MR. Ebrahimi (Oud), Sh. Andalibi (Ney), R. Tavakkoli (Tar), H. Ghanbari (Tonbak), S. Samimi (Kamancheh), H. Rezaeenia(Daf), H.Afshari(Shahnavaz), M. Nasehi(Sorahi), K. Motamedian (Sabou), S. Ebrahim (Ghanoon), N. Kharkan (Sorahi), J. Safarzadeh (Tondar) and D. Azar (Shahbang).

In spite of gossip, in some websites that Maestro MohammadReza Shajarian is in hospital, we must declare that he does not have any problem and Shahnaz Ensemble is ready to departure Tehran to London on Thursday, therefore all of the programs are held on their scheduled time obviously.

Maestro Mohammad Reza Shajarian is going to perform a Persian traditional music concert accompanied by Shahnaz ensemble in “Barbican-Hall”, London-UK 3, April 2010 / 18:30.
The concert has two parts : Homayoun(Rendan-e-Mast) and Mahour (Bi-Hamzaban).
The poems are by "Hafez", "Molana", "Sadi" and "J.Azar".

Regarding to ceremonious invitation of ”International mevlana foundation” , Iranian vocalist and composer, Mohammad Reza Shajarian is going to perform a Persian traditional music concerts accompanied by Shahnaz ensemble in “Konevi Kültür Merkezi”, Konya-Turkey on 12,13,15,and 16 December.
The poems are by Hafez and Molana.

Dastan ensemble and homayoun shajarian were given the award of the german music critics for their first recording for celestial harmonies which was issued in april of 2009, a co-production with berlin radio station RBB.
the award is the only meaningful and prestigious award in germany that is given for artistic quality alone, with no regard to commercial aspects at all. a large number of german music critics, reviewers and radio/ television programmers are members of the juries in the various categories which include many different kinds and styles of music. the selection procedure cannot be influenced from the outside, and the entire process has a flawless reputation for sincerity and honesty, reflecting the judgment of many highly experienced professionals.
it has been a great honor for about four decades now to receive this award. in the history of dastan's recording company celestial harmonies it is the sixth award to be given in company history, ranging from german/austrian classical music to world music.
